Audit a Class

If you are interested in taking a course or multiple courses without earning credit, you can register for class as an auditor.

Step 1

Get the specifics on who can audit a class and requirements for auditors from our catalog.

Step 2

Check the current audit fee schedule for the costs associated with taking a course as an auditor.

Step 3

If you are not currently a UW-Eau Claire student, go to Blugold Central for assistance with auditing a course. If you are current student, complete a Registration Change Form to add the course and request a change in grading basis to audit. This will require signatures from the course instructor. Keep in mind that adding a course late may require other additional signatures as well.
