Visiting UWEC? Find out where you can park

Welcome, visitors! Learn about single-day parking permits. For event parking, check with your event organizers. Prospective students and families should get parking information from Admissions.

Campus Guest/Visitor/Event parking

If you are a visitor to campus, please call 715-836-2544 at least 48 hours in advance to coordinate parking.

Residence Hall Visitors

If you or other family and friends are visiting your student living in the residence halls on weekdays, you must obtain a permit to park. We provide free permits for guests that allow temporary parking in the residence hall (R) stalls. Permits are available at Blugold Central (Vicki Lord Larson Hall 1108) or the Service Center (Davies Student Center 110) if outside of our business hours. Permits must be obtained by the visitor and they must provide a picture ID and their license plate information.

For weekend visits (beginning Friday at 3 p.m. through Monday at 6 a.m.), you do not need a permit to park in the residence hall (R) stalls.

Short-term visitor parking is available in the parking meters located within close proximity to the residence halls. Pay careful attention to the posted enforcement hours and be sure to pay the meter when required.

As of 3.19.2020, UWEC has closed campus services currently available to community members, which includes the Visitor Center. Please contact Blugold Central with questions.
