Our Focus
Parking policies and regulations at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire are aimed at enhancing public safety, maintaining flexibility and choice, meeting customer demand for convenience and affordability and supporting the University's mission and goals. The parking and transportation unit has a comprehensive approach that includes managing parking assets, promoting transit and alternative modes of transportation.
Updates for Fall 2026
UWEC Upper Campus
Meadows parking lot returned Aug 24, 2026 as a 'R' resident hall parking lot with an 'R' permit required. See parking regulations.
The former UWEC Corner lot is managed by CVTC parking regulations/enforcement. Watch signs for CVTC information.
A section of the Towers parking lot was changed to 'F' permit required Monday - Friday 6am to 4pm. Permits are not required in these "F" stalls all weekend and weekdays after 4:00 pm.
All other parking regulations are enforced on upper campus parking lots.
UWEC Lower Campus and the Priory Campus
All parking regulations are enforced on lower campus parking lots and at the Priory parking lot.
