Our 14 residence halls are consistently a popular choice for nearly 4,000 students at UW-Eau Claire. Our halls offer far more than just a place to sleep and relax between classes; there are many opportunities for Blugolds to get involved in their residence hall community by running for their hall government, getting involved in one of the many student organizations and attending any of the social, educational, and multicultural programs.

Are you ready to apply for housing?
Housing assignments are first-come, first-served--so don't procrastinate! Students are guaranteed on-campus living if the application and deposit are submitted by April 20. Submit your $75 housing deposit and housing application to secure your spot in the residence halls.
Students who submit their $75 deposit and housing application prior to February 1 will likely get their requested roommate or one of their top 3 hall preferences. Housing will prioritize your roommate request over your hall preference when making assignments. Follow the steps below when applying!
Activate your account
Activate your account by visiting https://myusername.uwec.edu. You will need your username and campus ID, which are found in your admit letter or application acknowledgement email.
Submit your deposit
After being admitted and activating your account (step 1 above), sign in to MyBlugold CampS. Once you've logged in, follow the steps below:
· Select Pay Housing Deposit from the menu on the left-hand side.
· Select Make a Payment or Deposit.
From here you will check the Housing Deposit box. Note that you may pay the enrollment deposit (indicate Freshman or Transfer) at the same time you pay your housing deposit. Indicate the term you were admitted to, the Housing Year (for Fall 2018 you would indicate the 2018-2019 year), and how you wish to pay your deposit(s).
Questions? Contact Housing at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 715-836-3674.

Find a roommate
If you already know who you want to request as your roommate, you may invite this individual to your roommate group and they must accept the invitation to make a mutual roommate request in housing contract and/or at My Housing Portal.
If you want to search for a roommate among other incoming students, the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Housing + Residence Life is excited to offer a Roommate Finder functionality within your My Housing Portal. Only after a student has completed the housing contract do they have access to the Roommate Finder.
The Roommate Finder will be available beginning October 1st and more details available at that time including a video tutorial.
