Explore Opportunities

Change your life with high-impact practices

We do things a little differently at UW-Eau Claire. With opportunities to get involved in research, study abroad, internships, cultural immersion and service learning, your world will expand the moment you step onto campus. Our liberal arts curriculum encourages Blugolds to get out there and live what they are studying now, not after they graduate. Join the nearly 90 percent of students who participate in at least two high-impact experiences that will give you the confidence and courage to discover your dream career and make it real.

Study Abroad

Study abroad is a great way to learn, and at UW-Eau Claire we provide the resources to make it happen. Imagine how much your world will grow when you attend classes while living in another country. Explore the possibility and expand your future.

Experience of a lifetime

Cultural Immersion

Become a citizen of the world. Learn about the Somali experience in Minneapolis/St. Paul, talk to eyewitnesses to history on the Civil Rights Pilgrimage, work in solidarity with local communities in Guatemala, and so much more.

Immerse yourself

UW-Eau Claire has challenged me in many ways and has left me a better person than when I came in as a freshman. It has given me the chance to compete as a college gymnast, conduct research alongside professors, support my community, make life-long friends and get accepted into graduate school.
