Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-initiated groups of UW–Eau Claire faculty and staff that share common interests, backgrounds, characteristics or pursuits. ERGs provide a formal link for employees and the University’s inclusivity efforts. ERGs enhance feelings of connectedness and provide opportunities for employees to seek and offer support to one another. These groups provide strategic recruiting and retention efforts for the University, and provide opportunities for the diverse population of UW–Eau Claire faculty and staff to gather socially and share ideas and similar interests outside of their individual departments.

Mental Health Resource Group (MHRG)

The Mental Health Resource Group (MHRG)'s goal is to provide UWEC employees with a safe avenue to gain connections on campus, become educated on mental wellness, and learn more about campus resources. Our group will have monthly meetings where we will create an open space to connect with others with similar experiences.

If you have questions or would like to join, please reach out to Britt Hakes at hakesbr@uwec.edu or Samantha Lorenz at lorenzs@uwec.edu.
