Four health care administration students presented their scholarly research at the Student Poster Exposition held during the 2017 American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) Convocation & Exposition in St. Louis, MO, April 1-5. Attending with the students were HCAD faculty members Dr. Kevin Hansen and Dr. Doug Olson.
“Embracing the Continuum: Developing Leaders for the Future” is the theme of the 2017 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Center for Health Care Administration and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE) Spring Banquet. The event will be held Thursday, April 27 at The Florian Gardens, 2340 Lorch Avenue, Eau Claire, WI.
“Exploring Advances in Technology to Enhance Senior Care” is the theme of the 2016 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE) annual forum. The event will be held from 3-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in the Ojibwe Ballroom (330) of UW-Eau Claire's Davies Center.
Taylor Kollross, a health care administration student from Eau Claire, WI, was selected by the UW-Eau Claire College of Business faculty and staff as the 2016 Outstanding Senior. Kollross, who is an outstanding student, will graduate summa cum laude in May. Kollross will be recognized at the 2016 University Student Excellence Awards reception on Thursday, May 5 at 5 pm in the Davies Center Ojibwe Ballroom, Room 330. The reception is hosted by the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association, UW-Eau Claire Foundation, and UW-Eau Claire University Centers.
Every year outstanding students, preceptors and friends of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Health Care Administration Program are recognized at the annual spring banquet hosted by the UW-Eau Claire Center for Health Care Administration and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE). Over 300 participants attended this year’s event which was held April 28 at The Florian Gardens in Eau Claire, WI. Special thanks to our banquet sponsors and our scholarship donors who funded over $15,000 in scholarships.
Twenty-six business students will be initiated into the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The annual initiation will be held Saturday, April 30 at 3 pm in the Cargill Collaboration Center, Schneider Hall Room 203. Ingrid Ullstad, senior lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance, will be recognized as the 2016 Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding professor.
The 2016 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Celebration of Excellence in Research and Creative Activity (CERCA) will be held the week of April 25-29, 2016. We invite you to stop by Davies Center to listen to presentations and view research by business students.
