| Jan Adams

Seventy-three students from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences will be among the graduates participating in commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 21, 2019, in Zorn Arena. After to the graduation festivities, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates, faculty, staff, administrators, family and friends will meet in Schofield Auditorium at 11:15 a.m. for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences Nursing Convocation at which the graduates receive their nursing pin as they walked across the stage.

The number of graduates this semester include:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Eau Claire Site - 45
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Marshfield Site - 14
Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Completion Program (BSN) - 12
Master of Science in Nursing - 3
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) - 2

Many UW-Eau Claire undergraduate nursing students have jobs waiting for them upon graduation. There is a nursing shortage and our nursing students are high demand to fill those openings. Well over 90 percent will pass the mandatory National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX). This high pass rate is a reflection of the strong academic and clinical programs that the College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers students.
