Congratulations Graduates!

The Nursing Convocation Ceremony will be held live at 11:00 a.m. or after Commencement this Saturday, December 18th. This is a wonderful time for students to celebrate with those in their college. However, this semester seating restrictions are in place and students can only invite three guests. During the ceremony, each student will have their name and hometown read by a faculty member. When their name is read, the student will stand along with one or more of their guests who will then proceed to pin them.
As part of the Convocation ceremony, each cohort selects a student speaker to represent them. This December Convocation speakers include, Briunna Wells, BSN-Traditional Program – Eau Claire, Shelby Christopherson and Tara Guden, BSN-Traditional Program – Marshfield, and Hannah Sjostrom, BSN-Completion Program.
For those unable to attend, the Nursing Convocation Ceremony will be live streamed at http://uwec.ly/live2. The link will be active on or about 11:00 am on Saturday.
The 9:00 am Commencement ceremony for the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and College of Arts and Sciences and will also be streamed on UW-Eau Claire's website, YouTube Channel or Facebook Page. The total number of students graduating from the traditional baccalaureate program and the BSN Completion program are:
- BSN – Eau Claire Site – 39
- BSN – Marshfield Site – 18
- BSN Completion – 9
