The following list of resources and opportunities are for students in their last semester at UW-Eau Claire who are preparing to graduate, whether they plan to participate in the Commencement ceremony or not.
Order Commencement Regalia
Purchase your cap gown, tassel, cords, announcements, diploma frames, and more online from Herff Jones. Limited quantities of regalia items are available for purchase on campus at the University Bookstore.
Bachelor's candidates are permitted to wear cords and stoles to signify academic honors or affinity. Graduation regalia must be ordered by Tuesday, April 27 to guarantee delivery in time for Commencement! Orders placed after this date may incur additional fees and are not guaranteed to be delivered in time.
Please note that black caps and gowns are required for students who plan to participate in the Diploma Ceremony. Graduates who are not wearing regalia will not be admitted into the event area for the Diploma Ceremonies.
Leave Your Mark on UW-Eau Claire
Making a donation to UW-Eau Claire is a meaningful way for you to give back and make an impact on the next generation of Blugolds. Graduates often like to give back to their academic departments, a scholarship they received, or a particular initiative that has been meaningful to their campus experience. Or, graduates can direct their gift to the Excellence Fund, which supports the areas of greatest need at the university.
In thanks from the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, graduates who make a gift of $20.21 or greater will receive a Blugold spirit cord, blue and gold cords to wear with graduation regalia or to display somewhere meaningful to be reminded of your time at UW-Eau Claire. Graduates who make a gift also have an opportunity to honor a faculty or staff member as a "Blugold Tribute." Following the end of the semester, they'll receive a note with your name and a beautiful hardbound book that chronicles the history of UW-Eau Claire.
