Jackson Orta is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. With the help of professor Wanrudee Buranakorn, he is currently researching minority representation in the photographic industry. His goal is to continue an already open conversation about minority and non-traditional representation in photography and society as a whole. Other than research, Jackson hopes to provide a sense of normalcy to predominantly diverse media in the form of fashion photoshoot productions.
Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree, Jackson seeks to further his education in pursuance of a master’s degree in Photography.
