She has a concentration in crisis and trauma counseling but enjoys working with individuals of any background. Her approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Existential and she strives to aid individuals in gaining more insight into their lives.

    Carolyn is a Master Level Intern with CS. She earned a BA in Studio Art at UWEC, and is now studying in the Masters of Art in Art Therapy and Counseling program at Edgewood College, Madison. Her approach to counseling includes a humanistic, expressive, and client-centered approach. She strives to provide a safe space where clients can uncover emotions, build positive skills to manage their mental health, and learn how to express themselves in safe and healthy ways.

    Dr. James Boulter is a professor of chemistry and the chair of UW-Eau Claire’s Public Health and Environmental Studies department. His Ph.D. is in analytical chemistry with an emphasis in atmospheric sciences from the University of Colorado-Boulder. His areas of teaching and scholarship include air pollution, climate change, and sustainability.
