Tracy Drier to lead Human Resources and Budget & Resource Planning

Tracy Drier has been named an executive director in the Division of Finance and Administration, leading Human Resources and Budget & Resource Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as of Feb. 8, 2023.

Drier has been at the university since 2019 and most recently served as director of budget & resource planning and interim director of human resources.

“Tracy is a proven leader and innovator with a passion for helping our faculty, staff and students succeed,” says Grace Crickette, UW-Eau Claire vice chancellor for finance and administration. “In leading the Human Resources and Budget teams, she has redistributed work and aligned talent so the teams can excel, eliminated unneeded processes, and prepared the departments to make changes in the coming year that will provide greater benefits to our faculty and staff and their families. I look forward to her continued leadership in our Division and at UW-Eau Claire."

Drier has worked in higher education for 20 years. She earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas and is a certified public accountant.

Drier is excited to continue her work in the Division of Finance and Administration.

The division includes Budget & Resource Planning, the Children's Nature Academy, Facilities Management, Firstsource & Travel, Human Resources, Procurement, Risk Management, Safety & Sustainability, University Accounting, University Centers and University Police.
