UWEC team takes 1st Place at the 2019 Midwest Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire team took 1st place out of 58 teams at the 2019 Midwest Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition (MUDAC), held at Minnesota State University, Mankato, March 30-31, 2019. Members of the UWEC team were Lance Tanel, Hunter Hartke, Will O’Brien, Isaac Swenson, and Eric Mallmann.

MUDAC is a collaborative effort between Minnesota State University, Winona State University, and MinneAnalytics.

This competition is dedicated to enhancing the education of undergraduate students who will soon be entering the data science/data analytics profession. MUDAC allows participants to showcase their analytical talent and promotes professional development.

This event brings together undergraduates from many different colleges and universities around the Midwest. Participants spend 24 hours working on a data analytics problem.
