Division of Finance & Administration Team Member,

I hope this message finds you in high spirits and filled with a sense of accomplishment. As the academic year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you for your hard work, dedication and commitment.

This past year has been unlike any other UWEC has experienced. Your dedication to excellence has been evident in every task you undertook, whether it was managing budgets and finances, ensuring smooth administrative operations, providing exceptional student and campus support services, or fostering a welcoming, safe and sustainable campus environment.

Your efforts have been instrumental in upholding UW-Eau Claire’s mission and enabling our community to thrive. The hours you have devoted have made a profound difference in the lives of our students, faculty and staff, and for that, I am truly grateful. Take pride in your achievements and reflect on the positive difference you have made.

Now that we have reached the end of the academic year, I hope you will find time to take well-deserved breaks and recharge your batteries. Summer brings with it an opportunity to pause, reflect and rejuvenate. I encourage you to make the most of this time to engage in activities that bring you joy, spend quality time with loved ones, explore new hobbies, or simply relax and recharge. It is essential to prioritize wellbeing and maintain a healthy work-life balance, allowing yourself the opportunity to return to campus each day refreshed and invigorated.

Finally, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to you and your family for a safe, joyful and rejuvenating summer. May this season bring you moments of tranquility, inspiration and personal fulfillment.

Thank you once again for your exceptional contributions to our division and the university as a whole. I am privileged to work alongside such an exceptional team, and I look forward to the exciting endeavors that lie ahead.

Be well,

Vice Chancellor Grace Crickette
