Muhaison Ibrahim is a junior biochemistry and molecular biology major from Accra, Ghana. His research interests are Alzheimer’s disease (AD) dementia and electro catalysis of Methylobacterium Radiotolerans. Currently, he studies the association of the gut microbiome diversity with hippocampal atrophy in pre-clinical AD populations. His goal is to create a better scientific premise for understanding the etiopathogenesis of AD. After graduation, Muhaison wishes to pursue a MD/PhD with peculiar interests in neurosurgery and neuropathology.
