17th International Poetry Reading | 6-8 p.m. | Ojibwe Ballroom (Room 330), Davies Center
The International Poetry Reading is an annual event that brings together the Blugold and larger Eau Claire communities to read poems in languages other than English and celebrate cultural diversity through poetry.
University Band Concert | 7:30 p.m. | Gantner Concert Hall, Haas Fine Arts Center
Join the musicians of the University Band as they perform their final concert of the semester. The concert will feature a selection of standard repertoire for concert band and approximately 120 student musicians.

Symphony Band Concert | 7:30 p.m. | Gantner Concert Hall, Haas Fine Arts Center
The Symphony Band performs their final concert of the academic year and features performances by the 2023 student concerto winner and student conductor competitions.
Spring 2023 BFA Exhibition Reception | 5-6:30 p.m. | Foster Gallery, Haas Fine Arts Center
Visit the Foster Gallery from April 28-May 14 to view the incredible work of students graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Saturday, April 29
Wind Symphony Concert | 7:30 p.m. | Gantner Concert Hall, Haas Fine Arts Center
The Wind Symphony will perform the world premiere of composer-in-residence Erika Svanoe’s composition written for the celebration of 100 years of bands at UW-Eau Claire. The performance also will feature performances by the 2023 concerto and student conductor competition winners.

Alumni Band Concert | 2 p.m. | Gantner Concert Hall, Haas Fine Arts Center
Attend the final concert of the 100th anniversary season of UW-Eau Claire’s bands. This free performance will feature the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Band, an ensemble composed of musicians spanning 50 years!

'Orpheus in the Underworld' | 7:30 p.m. | RCU Theatre, Pablo Center
See UW-Eau Claire students perform "Orpheus in the Underworld," a comic operetta by Jacques Offenbach. You can attend additional performances May 5 and May 6, or a matinee performance at 1:30 p.m. May 7.
Monday, May 8
'Disruptively Queer' | 7:30 p.m. | Gantner Concert Hall stage, Haas Fine Arts Center
Audience members and performers will gather on the Gantner stage for an evening of performing and sharing LGBTQIA+ themed work.
Tuesday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 10
Secondhand Stage | 7:30 p.m. | Riverside Theatre, Haas Fine Arts Center
An ensemble of six students and alumni have written, staged and created 30 short plays to be performed in 60 minutes. These works highlight neo-futurism style and tenets. Tickets will be sold at the door from 3-8 p.m.

Confluence Dance Project | 7:30 p.m. | Jamf Theatre, Pablo Center
Showcasing faculty, guest and student choreography, the Confluence Dance Project will demonstrate an array of choreography and the versatility of students in the dance program.
