On May 15, 2019 the Department of Languages had 12 new initiates into Sigma Delta Pi. Founded in 1919, Sigma Delta Pi is the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society and our chapter is Delta Psi. Sigma Delta Pi is the only honor society devoted exclusively to students of Spanish if four-year colleges and universities, and is the largest foreign-language honor society in existence. As members of Sigma Delta Pi, the students have exclusive access to awards, research grants, and leadership opportunities. Congratulations to the new members!
