On Friday, February 28th, UW-Eau Claire Sales Team members, Katie Folsom, Elijah Mutter-Schulz and Christina Zaine, attended the Redbird National Sales Competition (RNSC) hosted by the Professional Sales Institute at Illinois State University.
Collegiate competitors had the opportunity to represent and sell Gartner products to a prospective buyer during a 20-minute mock sales meetings. RNSC is an event to provide collegiate sales teams an opportunity to prepare and compete in a competitive setting before the National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC). Eighteen universities from around the country participated in the two-day event.
Both Folsom and Zaine advanced to the third round of the competition helping to earn a third-place finish for the sales team.
Folsom and Zaine will compete in the first-ever virtual role-play event at the National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC) on March 28-30, 2020.
Elijah Mutter-Schulz and Erin Benck will also participate in the Speed Selling event by perfecting a 90-second elevator pitch to ten various company representatives at the virtual career fair.
Jenna Williamson, a 2018 alumna and Customer Executive for Hormel Foods, for accompanied the sales team to the RNSC.
