A number of fellowships have been developed on campus to focus upon a particular area of emphasis for the university and to provide the fellow with campus wide leadership experiences. To date there are fellows in the area of Sustainability, EDI and CETL.
Leadership Eau Claire
Many administrators have had the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Eau Claire program offered by the Chamber of Commerce as a way to develop leadership skills, interact with the community and build ties, and to be exposed to other leaders throughout the community.
National Leadership Institutes/Academies
Several individuals on campus have been selected for participation in high level national leadership programs in order to enhance the skills they already have and to offer opportunities for further development.
Student Affairs Leadership Fellows
The purpose of the Student Affairs Leadership Fellows Cohort is to make UWEC a stronger institution by providing opportunities for selected individuals to take part in a structured program of professional development. The program will include skill and leadership development, the opportunity to take part in a mentoring relationship, and the completion of an individual project that benefits the university as well as a select service-related group project.
