Your health and safety is something that we take seriously at UW-Eau Claire. Take advantage of these services, as they are here for your well-being! Our student health services, recreation and fitness programs, emergency and police services, and Dean of Students office help you de-stress, worry less, deal with the challenges of being a college student, and feel safe in your environment.

Dean of Students

Sounds intimidating, right? "Dean of Students" But, really, these are your people! The Dean of Students is your ally, your advocate, your support when you need it. It's also the office that enforces the rules when it comes to academic integrity. Regardless of how you interact with the Dean of Students, know that the staff will always look out for your best interests and provide you with support in your academic and personal endeavors.

Recreation, fitness, & wellness

There are so many opportunities on campus to be active! You can take part in sports, outdoor activities, group fitness classes, even get a massage to help you start your day with energy or end your day relaxed.

This on-campus group provides resources whether you need a flu shot, a check-up, or wellness ideas, the caring staff is here to help. We are also located just minutes from two large hospitals, clinics, urgent care centers, and other medical facilities.

Counseling

The challenges of coming to a new place, living and studying with new people, being away from home, learning to be independent…these are challenges that every student faces at one point or another. UW-Eau Claire Counseling Services is located on campus, giving you easy access to someone when you need to talk.

Police & Emergency Services

UW-Eau Claire has a dedicated police department as a resource for the campus community. Their goal is to provide a friendly atmosphere in which all individuals on campus can feel safe and secure.
