Summer Sounds series to feature music faculty and guests

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music faculty and guests will be featured in the Summer Sounds concert series held at 2 p.m. Sundays, June 28-Aug. 2 (excluding July 5) in the Haas Fine Arts Center.

  • Blugolds take on the 'summer slide'

    When given the chance to help their community, Blugolds do it. This summer, undergraduate students are reaching out to area children to help combat the "summer slide" and improve reading skills.

    Dr. Charles Hanson, professor emeritus of English, who teaches an Honors course in Southern American literature, examines a current debate in race relations in the southern U.S. through the eyes of literature.

  • Blugolds explore equality in sustainability

    Dr. David Soll’s course in sustainable cities explores the relationship between the environmental and social factors that affect citywide sustainability efforts.
