The Student Success Program is an academic support program that provides small classes and a structured introduction to the university for first-year students. Participants are admitted to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire through the Student Success Program because they demonstrate the potential to succeed and may benefit from additional support as they transition to college.

Feedback from past participants indicates that the program provides a solid base to launch into the academic rigor at UWEC and transition to campus life as a Blugold.

Program Information

  • There is no additional cost to participation in the Student Success Program.There is no additional cost to participation in the Student Success Program.
  • Out-of-class activities and events help students build a sense of community and make connections to the University.
  • Peer academic coaching provides one-on-one guidance and support for students to develop various academic skills to have a successful collegiate experience. Visit the Peer Academic Coaching page to learn more about the program.
