Retiring Blugold Marching Band director Dr. Randal Dickerson was presented with a surprise Honorary Alumnus Award from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Alumni Association Nov. 7 for his 25 years of service.
On Sept. 16, Foust, professor emeritus of geography at UW-Eau Claire, was one of 16 new fellows hosted at an induction gala event in the Madison area.
UW-Eau Claire will host the Imagine Lecture presented by Mayo Clinic Health System-Eau Claire at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Dakota Ballroom of Davies Center. The guest speaker is Dr. Lisa Schulte Moore, an Eau Claire native, UW-Eau Claire biology graduate and faculty member at Iowa State University.
Brandon and Emily Riechers will receive the 2025 Blugold Spirit Award, a recognition reserved for alumni who live out excellence, generosity and a deep love for UW-Eau Claire.
Zach Zilm Jr., a 2019 business management graduate, was a quarterback for the Blugolds and is now a personnel assistant for the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL.
