The Sport Management LLC is for first-year students who are interested in learning more about sport industry careers and who are seeking the additional networking, personal and professional development, and practical application opportunities offered through this community.

Living

The Sport Management LLC is located in The David Karlgaard Tower (Towers North). The community meets regularly and engages in social, academic, and career exploration programming.

Learning

Sport Management LLC students will be required to take MGMT 220: Intro to Sport Management in the Fall. This course will introduce students to the field of sport management and provide them with an overview of management principles within the sport industry.

Programs and Events

Sport Management LLC students will participate in a variety of experiences that include Leadership Development, athletic events on and off campus, facility tours, meetings with industry professionals, and volunteer opportunities related to the focus of the LLC.

How to Join

Choose your Living Learning Community preference on the housing application in the housing portal. The housing portal is all your housing information in one place.

If you are in a roommate group, make sure your roommate indicates the same LLC preferences on their housing application. Otherwise, you will not be placed in the LLC.
