Help students give back to the local community! Community-engaged learning provides a way for students to learn skills, investigate careers and build a personal network. If you have an organization that could help benefit the community and provide a rich experience for students, contact the Community-Engaged Learning Office to get involved!

Community Engagement Fair

Each fall semester, the Community-Engaged Learning Office, along with University Centers, hosts the Community Engagement Fair. This is an opportunity for you to meet with students and provide them more information about the kinds of projects available through your organization.

Posting Projects

As a Supervisor you can post projects for UW-Eau Claire students to complete. Your projects will go into our database and give students the opportunity to find it. 

To post a project, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://cel.apps.uwec.edu
  2. Click on "Sign In" and then "Public Login"
  3. Click on "Community Partners” and locate your organization
  4. Click on the name of your organization
  5. Below the listing of supervisors, click on the “+ Proposal” button to create a new proposal

If you are unable to access your online community-engaged learning account please contact cel@uwec.edu. If you are a new Community Partner, please contact the Community-Engaged Learning Office.

Completion of a Project

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for verifying the student's participation and completing an Online Evaluation of the student after the project is completed. You will be prompted via email to complete these steps.
