Biking at UWEC is a popular way of getting around campus.

  • Eau Claire Transit
  • Priory Shuttle
  • Conveyance Van on-campus service for students and staff with permanent or temporary disabilities
  • SafeWalk/SafeRide for a walking and riding safety escort program for all UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff

Long-Distance Travel Options

Car Rental

Enterprise and National Big10 Contracts for business use are available. 

Eligible renters for Business Use can be used for employees, consultants and contractors engaging in active business on behalf of the school as well as students at least 18 years and above who are engaging in active business on behalf of the school.

18-20-year-old renters are restricted to the following vehicle car classes: Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full Size, Minivan, Midsize/Standard SUV.

Eligible renters may be required to provide evidence of eligibility at the time of rental.

Enterprise and National for personal use for drivers 21 years and above is above. 

Eligible renters for Non-Business Use would include any UWEC employee who wishes to rent for personal use only, student organizations or clubs directly affiliated with the school, and intramural sports organizations or clubs.

Eligible renters may be required to provide evidence of eligibility at the time of rental.

Badger Bus service is available between UWEC, UW Madison and UW Milwaukee.

Flights for University-Related Activities

Need a flight to a conference or other university-related event? The University of Wisconsin System has a managed travel program with a mandatory procedure for booking flights and paying for airfare. Please work with your hosting department or the campus travel manager, 715-836-3361, to arrange your flights
