A total of 597 students are candidates for bachelor’s degrees, including 207 from the College of Arts and Sciences, 178 from the College of Health and Human Sciences, 138 from the College of Business and 74 from the College of Nursing.
Eighty-three students are candidates for graduate degrees. In the College of Business, 57 Blugolds are candidates for master’s degrees. A total of 18 students are candidates for master’s degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences and eight students are candidates for master’s degrees in the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Madison Satinover of Aurora, Illinois, a candidate for a bachelor of arts in communication, will deliver “Blugold Reflections” at the morning ceremony. Her talk is titled “Right on Time: Celebrating Every Path to Graduation.”
The national anthem will be led by AJ Larson of Verona, a candidate for a bachelor of music education degree, choral emphasis. The alma mater will be led by Hannah Divin of Yorkville, Illinois, also a candidate for a bachelor of music education degree, choral emphasis.
Caroline Welch, CEO and co-founder of Mind Your Brain Inc., will deliver the “Charge to the Class.” Welch is a 1974 graduate of UW-Eau Claire with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She holds a law degree from University of Wisconsin Law School and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Southern California. Welch is the author of “The Gift of Presence: A Mindfulness Guide for Women.” She lives in Santa Monica, California, with her husband, Dan Siegel.
