Ashley is a Counselor at UWEC Counseling Services and is the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) coordinator. She obtained her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Ashley's areas of interest include depression, anxiety, adjustment to college, stress management, identity development, and concerns related to gender identity and sexual orientation. She also conducts AODA assessments. Ashley works from a humanistic, cognitive behavioral, and feminist approach with an emphasis in client empowerment.
Ashley has completed her EDI Tier 3 certificates by facilitating a book club for A Guide To Gender and facilitating a training titled "Confronting Problematic Behavior" with CETL.
