Biography
Erin specializes in adjustment issues, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, ADHD, family and relationship challenges, co-occurring diagnoses, trauma, and attachment. She uses a strengths-based approach grounded in emotion-focused and attachment theories. Erin is a certified teacher through the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults and is also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
Originally from Iowa, Erin has worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, emergency/crisis services, schools, homes, and day treatment programs. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, backcountry hiking, skiing, bicycling, kayaking, and relaxing on the porch with a cup of tea.
