Among UW-Eau Claire's largest events, and a feature on many students' "must experience before graduation" lists, The Fire Ball is UW-Eau Claire's drag ball extravaganza!  Each year, a line-up of incredible drag performers heats up an otherwise frigid weekend at the end of February. The Fire Ball hosts a line-up of renowned drag performers from the hottest stages around the world who turn it out for packed audiences (1500 attendees over two days).

A nationally recognized program, The Fire Ball offers numerous opportunities for students to get involved, behind the scenes and during the show. Volunteers fill a number of critical positions: greeters, ticket takers, wristbanders, tip wranglers, performer attendants, and just about anything else we need you to do. Knock out your service learning requirement, and have a ball doing it!  Whatever your interest, there is an opportunity to get involved.

Importantly, The Fire Ball isn't just another drag show.  Proceeds fund student scholarships, emergency funds (for those unexpected roadblocks on students' journey to graduation), and additional GSRC programming. The Fire Ball has also contributed over $200K worth of food for our Campus Harvest Food Pantry. We give a buck!
