Intro

All your hard work is about to pay off and we are proud of you. We hope you are as excited about the commencement ceremony as we are. Please use the following as a guide to help you prepare for the big day.

Widgets
  1. Apply to graduate. This should be done before the semester you wish to graduate. Work with your advisor to identify your graduation term.
  2. Pay outstanding financial obligations.
  3. Complete your Commencement "To Do" List in CampS where you will update your personal information, mailing address and RSVP to attend the ceremony.
  4. Download the AXS app and create an account using your UWEC email address. Guest tickets will be delivered a few weeks before the ceremony to everyone who completed their Commencement To Do List in CampS.
  5. Purchase academic regalia (cap, gown, tassel, hoods, etc). Reach out to the University Bookstore with any purchasing questions.
  6. Consider being a student speaker at the ceremony.
  7. Contact Career Services for help finding professional positions, resume writing, and other career-related assistance.
  8. Connect with the Alumni Association to view your benefits and opportunities.
  9. Leave your mark on UWEC by donating to the Foundation, and receive a Blugold spirit cord to wear during commencement.
  10. Undergraduates should send an email to srvlearn@uwec.edu to inquire if you've met your Service Learning requirements.
  11. Take a moment and enjoy all that you've accomplished! We are very proud of each of you!

Countdown to Commencement

We’re here to help you get ready for your big day! Mark your calendar and stop by the 2nd floor of Davies to pick up everything you need, connect with campus resources, and celebrate this exciting milestone.

Where: 2nd floor, Davies Center

  • Enter to win extra guest tickets
    Scan the QR code at the event for a chance to win two additional tickets for your guests. Five students from each ceremony will be randomly drawn.
  • Get your regalia
    Pick up your pre‑ordered regalia or purchase your cap, gown, and more from the campus bookstore.
    Note: DNP graduates must purchase regalia online.
  • Prepare for what’s next
    Launch your post‑graduation success with guidance from Career Services.
  • Leave your mark
    Donate to a meaningful program and receive a Blugold spirit cord.
  • Double-check service-learning requirements
    Speak with staff to confirm your status.
  • Celebrate your next chapter
    Distinguish yourself as a soon-to-be UW–Eau Claire alum.
  • Explore opportunities
    Learn about graduate-level programs and certificate opportunities on campus.
  • Get creative
    Decorate your graduation cap and show off your Blugold pride.
