Commencement Checklist

All your hard work is about to pay off and we are proud of you. We hope you are as excited about the commencement ceremony as we are. Please use the following as a guide to help you prepare for the big day.

 Checklist

1. Apply to graduate. Work with your advisor to identify your graduation term.
2. Pay outstanding financial obligations. You will graduate, but not receive your printed diploma if all financial obligations haven't been reconciled.
3. Complete your Commencement "To Do" List in CampS where you will update your personal information, mailing address and RSVP to attend the ceremony.
4. Purchase academic regalia (cap, gown, tassel, hoods, etc). Reach out to the University Bookstore with any purchasing questions.
5. Consider being a student speaker at the ceremony.
6. Contact Career Services for help finding professional positions, resume writing and other career-related assistance.
7. Connect with the Alumni Association to view your benefits and opportunities.
8. Leave your mark on UWEC by donating to the Foundation, and receive a Blugold spirit cord to wear during commencement.
9. Send an email to srvlearn@uwec.edu to inquire if you've met your Service Learning requirements.
10. Take a moment and enjoy all that you've accomplished! We are very proud of each of you!
