Intro

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC), a comprehensive regional public university in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with a reputation for academic excellence and for fostering innovative undergraduate research, invites nominations and applications for the position of President of the UWEC Foundation. In this role, the President also serves as Executive Director of the Blugold Real Estate Foundation (BGREF), Executive Director of BHEI, Inc., and oversees or supports several other nonprofit entities associated with the mission of the UWEC Foundation.

About The Foundation

The UWEC Foundation is a separate nonprofit organization dedicated to securing, managing, and stewarding private philanthropic support for the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Working in close partnership with university leadership, the Foundation advances UWEC’s mission of teaching, scholarship, and community engagement by fostering charitable giving, overseeing endowment assets, and strengthening strategic relationships that enhance the university’s long-term impact.

Chancellor Martini hopes to name the next president by the end of the 2026 calendar year. Search Committee nominations are underway, and the committee will be formed before the end of September.
