Biography

Grace serves as a master's level intern at UWEC Counseling Services. Grace is earning her M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UW-Stout. She completed her undergraduate studies at Augsburg University in Minneapolis with a bachelor's degree in religion.

Grace's counseling practice meets clients where they are, and helps them sort through their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors around their concern. She values the therapeutic relationship, and believes all people ultimately have the solution to their own problems, it's just a matter of finding it! Grace is passionate about working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, eating disorders, spiritual questioning, those on the LGBTQIA spectrum, and those who are on a personal growth journey. Grace's counseling work is eclectic, grounded in person centered, gestalt, CBT, narrative, and feminist theories.

Before becoming a counselor, Grace worked as high school teacher in Colorado before moving back to Wisconsin and serving as the Director of Education in a local faith community. Grace loves to swim in the local lakes and rivers, and express her creativity through singing and painting! She also loves to travel the world on her free time.
