A week-long celebration of the Greek community

Greek Week is a week-long celebration of the Greek community at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire that is sponsored by the Interfraternity and PanHellenic Councils. The week is designed to follow the four guiding pillars of Greek Life, with events that are focused on Leadership, Scholarship, Service, and Friendship. There are two separate competitions that take place during the week; the Spirit Cup competition for the organizations, and the Greek God and Goddess competition that is for individual members that are representing their organizations.

Greek Week for 2024 will be Monday, April 15th through Friday, April 19th.  Almost all events are open to any staff or student who would like to spectate or participate.

Spirit Cup Competition

The Spirit Cup competition is held between the various social Greek organizations.  The winning organization will receive a trophy and will be recognized at the Greek Game Night on April 19th.

All events will award chapters money toward their individual philanthropies for participation, with the scale including $20 for first place, $15 for second place, $10 for third place, and $5 for fourth place for each event.  Candidate and medallion will be $20 only per winner. Events with points for attendance will be based on percentage of chapter roster.

Prior to Greek Week, chapters are assigned a banner to complete for their Greek Week Candidate and must submit a photo of their chapter recreating a scene from a spy movie/show and a general chapter photo.
