Business Undecided

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's pre-business curriculum is designed for those who are interested in a business-related career but may not be ready to declare a specific major. Our business undecided route allows you to stay on track to graduate in four years by taking the core business classes required for all business majors. After declaring your major — and completing your business generals — you'll transition into the curriculum specific to your chosen degree.

Description

Find Your Path in Business

While discovering your place in the business world, you'll find unparalleled support from College of Business (COB) staff, faculty, and advisors. Your professors will know you by name and will go out of their way to help you uncover your interests, strengths, and talents.

Core courses within the COB will help you to learn critical business practices necessary for any business career. You'll learn how to adapt messages to existing and emerging technologies, how our legal environment affects decision-making and the basic principles of marketing a product or service. Coursework will empower you to take on the challenges of the business world with confidence and prepare you well for future leadership and management roles.

Many students also choose to take advantage of the many experiential learning opportunities available to them at UWEC. You may choose to take your education to the next level by studying abroad, competing in a national competition, conducting undergraduate research, volunteering in your community, completing a service-learning project, or participating in the National Student Exchange. These opportunities open doors to new experiences and ways of thinking, helping you to step outside your comfort zone and grow.
