If you have taken time away from UW-Eau Claire and want to resume your studies, you've come to the right place! The Advising, Retention and Career Center is here to help — no matter your situation.

Below, please select how long you have been away from UWEC, and we will share your next steps.

I only took one semester off from UW-Eau Claire

Welcome back!  If you attended another college or university during your time away from UW-Eau Claire, you must order official transcripts to be sent to Admissions. 

To register for courses, schedule an appointment with your Advising, Retention + Career Center advisor.  If you have any questions, contact arcc@uwec.edu.

I have been away from UW-Eau Claire for two or more semesters.
  1. You will need to reapply to UWEC. Visit the Admissions page and follow the instructions to Reentry Student enrollment.  You will not need to pay an application fee.  If you attended another college or university during your time away from UW-Eau Claire, you must order official transcripts to be sent to Admissions. 
  2. If your application for readmission is accepted, you will be assigned an advisor in the Advising, Retention + Career Center. Your advisor will reach out to you regarding scheduling an appointment to discuss your re-entry and course registration.
I was suspended and am looking to return to UW-Eau Claire.

You will need to reapply to UWEC. Visit the Admissions page and follow the instructions for Reentry student enrollment.  You will not need to pay an application fee.  Your application will be sent to the college of your declared major. Be sure to use the applicant statement to address the suspension and include any information you would like them to know when reviewing your information.

Undergraduate Students Seeking a Second Bachelor’s Degree
