Motivation Mondays are setting the stage for a vibrant start to your week, courtesy of the Student Senate's Communications Commission. This initiative is more than just a place for free pick-me-ups; it's a cornerstone of community and positivity at the outset of each week. By engaging in with Senate representatives and local organizations/ services, students are welcomed into a supportive space designed to uplift and motivate. Beyond the immediate perks, Motivation Mondays is a gateway to a broader understanding of campus resources, upcoming events, and opportunities for student involvement. We're also passionate about sustainability, encouraging students to bring their own mugs as part of our eco-friendly mission.

But that's not all—Motivation Mondays is also an open platform for collaboration. If your group is interested in co-hosting an event, bringing new ideas, or sharing initiatives that can benefit the student community, we'd love to hear from you. Reach out to the Communications Director to explore how we can work together to make these Mondays even more impactful. This initiative isn't just about starting the week on the right foot; it's about creating a space where every student can be exposed to all the amazing resources and organizations in our campus community. Occasionally students will be in need of legal advice, which can be not only daunting but also costly. Eau Claire attorney Harry Hertel comes to campus once a week to help students. This program can help students with a very broad range of common student legal needs including traffic issues, small claims, personal injury, landlord disputes, alcohol issues and employer/employee disputes.

A $10.00 first-time fee is charged, with a $5.00 fee for each follow-up appointment concerning the same subject matter.  To schedule an appointment stop by the Student Senate Office (220 Davies Center), call 715-836-4646 or e-mail studentlegal@uwec.edu.  Appointments are scheduled from 4:30 - 8 p.m.
