UW-Eau Claire Receives Grant for Geospatial Education Initiative
Dr. Christina Hupy (geography and anthropology) received an award for $418,869 from UW System's Growth Agenda-Institutional Change Grants program. The project is titled "Geospatial Education Initiative." The goal is to cultivate and promote the skills needed for today's students entering the geospatial workforce. Mike Axelrod, psychology, is the new IRB chair, overseeing implementation of policies and procedures that protect the rights and welfare of human subjects participating in university research projects.
