Student Senate is proud to represent the student body of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at the university, local, state, and federal levels, and allocate $17 million to improve student life every year. Commissions of the Student Senate work tirelessly to identify and improve university policies, and present legislation to the full Senate.
Our ability to affect positive change is helped greatly by participation and feedback from our constituents- don't hesitate to contact us with questions, comments, or concerns.

Student vote helps push the Confluence forward
The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram reported that on-campus voter turnout among students rose 210% over the previous year during the April 1 election.
Students overwhelmingly supported a county referendum to give $3.5 million to the Confluence Project and defeated a city referendum to slow down the process for arts-based projects. For more information on the April 1 election, visit the Leader-Telegram website. To learn more about the Confluence Project, visit the University's FAQ page or Community for the Confluence.
