The 2015-17 state budget: Update Center

Major changes have been proposed for the UW System in Governor Walker's 2015-17 Biennial Budget Proposal, including transferring the UW System to aRally for Excellence public authority model, providing future funding through a dedicated portion of the sales tax, and reducing the UW System's allocation by $300 million. To help connect students with resources, we've linked below to various resources that answer some commonly-asked questions:

What is a Public Authority and how does it differ from our current UW System governance model?
How is UW-Eau Claire reacting to the proposed cuts?
What has Student Senate said about this budget proposal?
What can I do to get involved?
