The Student Senate represents the students of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire at all levels of governance. We author and pass legislation to create and change policies that will improve student life and the overall quality of the University. We consult with the University Chancellor, faculty and staff, UW system administration, the Eau Claire City Council, as well as the state and federal governments.

Legal services available to students
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Student Senate legal services attorney is available to help students with a variety of legal issues.
The attorney will be on campus on Tuesday evenings. Students who need legal advice may meet with the attorney for a $10 fee; a second meeting on the same subject will cost $5.
