Four types of annual parking permits are available for faculty and staff.They may be paid for with cash, check, Blugold card, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or payroll deduction at the Parking andTransportation Services office. Please bring identification,Blugold card preferred.
(G) Guaranteed faculty
A "G" permit guarantees a space in a particular lot. The permits are only valid in the lots that they are issued for. There are a limited number of reserved spaces within the Phillips, Hibbard, Nursing and Olson lots. Faculty and staff receive information from the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance office in April. Any questions regarding G permits should be directed to Gparking@uwec.edu.

(F) Standard faculty/staff permit
These permits are valid in designated spaces in the Hibbard, Phillips, Haas Fine Arts, Human Sciences and Services, Water Street, McPhee, Murray, Governors and Towers lots. If F spaces in these lots are full, parking is allowed in "R" spaces on upper campus Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Enforcement
Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the exception of McPhee and Murray lots, where permits are required from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Governors lot, as posted.
(P) Carpool Permit
To help reduce vehicular traffic on campus carpool permits are available for purchase by faculty and staff. To be eligible for this permit, it requires three or more people to commit to carpooling. There will be designated carpool parking spaces in the Phillips parking lot. Members of a carpool will be eligible for up to four one day passes per year per person. Day passes will be valid only in F spaces.

Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
(E) Economy permit
The Recreation Activity parking lot, located on Maccarthur Avenue near Bollinger Fields, will provide additional parking for faculty, staff and commuter students. Additional spaces may be leased as needed in lots located near campus. All off-site economy lots will be on Route 9 transit route and permits will be sold at a reduced price. Since Route 9 does not operate during the summer months, E permits will be valid in "R" lots on upper campus during this timeframe.
Enforcement
E permits are valid Monday-Friday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Overnight parking is not allowed in economy parking lots.
Motorcycle permits
Permits are required and available for purchase all year long. Designated parking spaces are provided within the following campus lots.
Governors, Haas Fine Arts, Hibbard handicap, McPhee, Phillips, Putnam, Schneider and Towers.
Moped Permits
Permits are required and available for purchase all year long. Mopeds must be parked in the designated moped pads located in the following locations.
Sutherland Hall, East end of Chancellors Hall, Southeast end of Phillips Hall, North side of Putnam Hall, Southeast end of Governors, Towers South, McPhee (by main enterance), Hibbard Hall, Schneider, Schofield (by library), Haas Fine Arts (north of building)
Emeriti permits
Retired faculty and staff may be eligible for an Emeriti permit. These permits are issued through the Chancellors office. For more information please contact langda@uwec.edu.
