Presentations by Educators who Focus on the Hyphen in Teacher-Scholar

Teacher-Scholar presentations will demonstrate the wide variety of ways to make the connection between teacher and scholar.

Scholarship of discovery informing teaching. (Research suggested that productivity as a researcher is positively associated with instructors' ratings from students.)
Scholarship of teaching and learning (SOTL) develops models for effective teaching.
Scholarly teachers use results of SOTL and other education research to improve their practice.
Great teaching (including mentoring of students in research, schloarship and creative activity) can inform and inspire new scholars and scholarly projects.
