As finals week is upon us here at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, take a moment to enjoy some photos of late fall highlights. Meet Mocha, the new labradoodle puppy being trained as a therapy dog by campus police. Current and future students alike will love to spend time with Mocha when they might feel the need for some canine snuggles.

Congratulations to the Blugold women's volleyball team on a great season, one that took them to the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Division III Championships. The team's season ended with a hard-fought four-set loss to the University of La Verne on Dec. 3.

Davies Center was packed with hobbyists of all types during the annual GEEKcon event Dec. 6, highlighting all things "geeky," from gaming and cosplay to elaborate crafting and Lego displays.

The 51st annual Holiday Concert featured 350 musicians performing in four shows over two days. The event raised $14,000 in student scholarship funds.
