As finals week is upon us here at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, take a moment to enjoy some photos of late fall highlights. From concerts and classrooms to athletics and a new campus furry friend — these images give a glimpse of campus life in this last month of the semester. Here’s to some fun Blugold moments!

Meet Mocha, the new labradoodle puppy being trained as a therapy dog by campus police. Current and future students alike will love to spend time with Mocha when they might feel the need for some canine snuggles.
A French language class with Amanda Hilson, lecturer in the languages department, enjoyed a cheese-tasting day as part of their study of the French culture.
Because no French food lesson is complete without a lesson in pastry baking, the French class also spent a session baking in the Blugold Dining kitchen.

Congratulations to the Blugold women's volleyball team on a great season, one that took them to the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Division III Championships. The team's season ended with a hard-fought four-set loss to the University of La Verne on Dec. 3.
Davies Center was packed with hobbyists of all types during the annual GEEKcon event Dec. 6, highlighting all things "geeky," from gaming and cosplay to elaborate crafting and Lego displays.
The same day in Davies Center, UW-Eau Claire hosted the Wisconsin High School ESports Association Fall State Championship.
Festive headwear is a tradition for the annual Holiday Concert, which features all vocal and instrumental ensembles of the music and theatre arts department.
The 51st annual Holiday Concert featured 350 musicians performing in four shows over two days. The event raised $14,000 in student scholarship funds.

UW-Eau Claire has a long history of folks bringing therapy dogs to campus, and now we have our very own labradoodle puppy, Mocha, a therapy dog in training with the University Police.
UW-Eau Claire students in the biology lab of Dr. Nic Wheeler have launched a food and fund drive to benefit the Feed My People Food Bank, an effort that runs through Dec. 20.
