Help students give back to the local community! Service-learning provides a way for students to learn skills, investigate careers and build a personal network. If you have an organization that could help benefit the community and provide a rich experience for students, contact the Service-Learning center to get involved!

Service-Learning & Community Engagement Fair

Each fall semester, the Center for Service-Learning, along with University Centers, hosts the Service-Learning & Community Engagement Fair. This is an opportunity for you to meet with students and provide them more information about the kinds of projects available through your organization.

Posting Projects

As a Site Supervisor you can post projects for UW-Eau Claire students to complete. Your projects will go into our database and give students the opportunity to find it. Your project should meet the criteria laid out in the Guidebook.

To post a project, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://servicelearning.apps.uwec.edu/
  2. Click on "Sign In" and then "Public Login"
  3. Click on "Community Partners” and locate your organization
  4. Click on the name of your organization
  5. Below the listing of supervisors, click on the “+ Proposal” button to create a new proposal

If you are unable to access your online service-learning account please contact srvlearn@uwec.edu. If you are a new Community Partner, please contact the Center for Service-Learning.

Completion of a Project

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for verifying the student's participation and completing an Online Evaluation of the student after the project is completed. You will be email prompted to complete these steps.
