Katie started at the university in 2008. Her work includes alcohol prevention and intervention, commercial tobacco cessation and policy advocacy, sexual health, bike and pedestrian advocacy, as well as other areas. She strongly believes in life/work balance. She enjoys spending time with her family and cats, tending her native garden, camping in national parks, reading, playing Ultimate Frisbee and basketball, volunteering for political and social justice organizations, and drinking coffee.
