Biography
Dr. Renner is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, teaching undergraduate courses within the department and graduate courses in the Master's of Athletic Training program. She is passionate about helping future clinicians develop critical thinking and interpersonal skills that will serve them in graduate school and throughout their career. Her research is focused on making sports safer for kids. Specifically, Dr. Renner investigates disparities in access to athletic trainers in the secondary school and club sport settings and explores how youth sport specialization (year-round, intensive sport participation) is related in injury.
