Hello, my name is Ann. This will be my sixth year here at the UWEC Children's Nature Academy. I graduated from UW Whitewater with a bachelor’s
degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in May of 2016. I would say the classes that I liked best were the behavioral intervention classes and classes that talked about integrating different levels and skills to meet the individual needs of a child in lesson plans. I have attend many workshops and conferences over the years as well. I will be using what I have learned over the years to create the best learning environment for the children in the Honeybee room. I have lived in Eau Claire all of my life. My family is a big part of my life. I enjoy spending time with them and friends. My family includes my parents, my brother, a 14-year-old niece and large extended family. I recently bought my first home. That has been a learning experience. I have been busy doing projects and unpacking. I still have many projects on my “to do” list and lots of boxes to unpack, I am beginning to think I will never be done!
I like to set goals for myself. I hope to help your child set goals and reach them this year.
