Biography

Biography

Daniel Modl is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he teaches research methods in psychology. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the Counseling Psychology program at Oklahoma State University, where he serves as the Assistant Director of the Counseling and Counseling Psychology Clinic—an on-campus training facility serving OSU students, staff, faculty, and the Stillwater community. He is also the current Social Media Coordinator for the Society of Counseling Psychology, Division 17 of the American Psychological Association. His research focuses on ethical decision-making, moral distress/injury, and self-efficacy among counseling graduate students. Passionate about training future counselors and promoting multicultural competence and ethics, Daniel strives to use his diverse interests and experiences to make meaningful contributions both academically and in the community. He is dedicated to promoting ethical practices in counseling and cultivating inclusive environments for clients and students. Outside of his academic pursuits, Daniel is an avid supporter of international travel and cultural immersion, music, and community engagement.
