Dr. Bill Miller is an Professor of Accounting at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. He earned his doctorate in Leadership in 2008 from the University of Saint Thomas, Saint Paul, MN. Having spent twenty-two years in public accounting and private industry prior to earning his doctorate, Bill has extensive experience in the financial and managerial accounting, audit, mergers and acquisitions, business turnarounds, and debt and capital raising in various industries including financial services, business services and renewable fuels. He has been teaching accounting at UWEC since 2008 and continues to consult with businesses in need of his expertise. For example, he completed a two and half year gig as CFO of a MN software company, culminating in its sale in November of 2020.
