Katie Larson, M.S.

Katie Larson is a learning technology and training leader with more than 15 years of experience spanning higher education, K-12 education, and corporate training and development. She currently serves as LTS Training Coordinator and Senior Instructional Consultant at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where she leads campus-wide technology training initiatives, supports adoption of enterprise instructional technologies, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and leadership to advance innovative, accessible, and student-centered learning experiences. Her work focuses on strategic training development, emerging technologies, digital accessibility, and the effective integration of technology to improve teaching, learning, and organizational performance.

Throughout her career, Katie has built expertise in instructional design, faculty development, change management, and cross-functional collaboration. She has led professional development initiatives across the Universities of Wisconsin, served in multiple leadership roles within the Learning Technology Development Council (LTDC), and championed the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), digital accessibility, and inclusive practices into training and instructional technology initiatives. She is also actively engaged in exploring and supporting the responsible use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in education.

Katie holds a Master of Science in Adult, Continuing, and Higher Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, as well as a Master of Science in Broadfield English Teaching from Mount Mary University. She is passionate about helping organizations build capacity through technology, communication, and professional development, and believes that innovation is most impactful when it is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with the needs of learners and the institution.
